The base rate covers access to the space for the booked time window, standard power usage, and amenities listed on the studio page. Specialty equipment, additional grip/lighting packages, staff, overtime, or add-ons may be billed separately depending on the studio.
Yes. Cancellation and reschedule rules depend on the studio and the notice period. In general, earlier changes have lower fees; last‑minute changes may be partially or fully non‑refundable. Check the studio’s policy in the booking details before confirming.
For weekday shoots, booking 3–7 days ahead usually offers the best selection. For weekends, seasonal campaigns, or large crews, we recommend 2–4 weeks in advance. Same‑day bookings may be possible if a studio is available and can be confirmed in time.
Policies vary by studio. Many spaces allow pets with prior approval and cleaning fees; smoking and open flame (including candles) are commonly restricted. Always request approval before arrival—unapproved use can result in fees or immediate wrap.
Many studios offer add‑on gear (lights, stands, backdrops, grip, audio). You can also bring your own equipment—just verify power limits, access constraints (stairs/elevators), and any noise rules. If you need a specific kit, request it in advance to ensure availability.
Overtime is typically billed in increments (for example, 30 or 60 minutes) at the studio’s overtime rate and is subject to availability. If another booking is scheduled after yours, overtime may not be possible—plan buffer time for load‑out and resets.
Some studios require proof of insurance (COI) and/or a refundable security deposit, especially for large crews or high‑value equipment. Requirements are shown during booking. If you’re unsure, contact the studio before you confirm.
